Even the most jaded fan will love this collection! The stories range from poignant to absurd (but funny!), and the Darth Vader/Dark Woman tale by Ron Marz is required reading. A top-notch collection that every SW fan should have.

All the stories in this book are pure Star Wars. They range from the deadly serious: Extention, to the very funny: A D.I.M.B.S. (Death Star) is born. That last one is not for those who take their SW very seriously.

This is the largest collection that I have ever seen from Dark Horse Comics. It brings together a very diverse group of storylines, and illustrators. The content is a bit uneven although the majority of the work is worthwhile for fans that want to know as much as they can about every character's background.

Among dozens of other background bits, there is the tale of what incident got Jar Jar Binks expelled from his colony, and the opening story documents Vader as he stalks and kills a fairly well known Jedi. If you want to have everything in writing about the Star Wars Saga, then you will enjoy this collection, if you pass you will not have any gaping holes in your knowledge of characters and their back stories.
